We started the Wasted Wine Club with a simple mission: to reduce the massive amounts of wastage that occurs in the wine industry every year. We’re not saving the planet, but we are making sure there is a little less waste in it. And that’s a start.

DOING OUR PART

PRODUCT It takes 720 litres of water to produce a single bottle of wine (The Economist, 2009). That means by purchasing a bottle of Wasted Wine Club wine, you’ve saved the equivalent of an average human’s daily water consumption for 4.7 days from going to waste.
PACKAGING Our wine bottles are 100% recyclable. Please dispose of correctly and close the loop. The boxes you’ve received your wine in are made from partially recycled material, and are fully recyclable. We are working to find a more sustainable option that doesn’t translate to increased prices for you.
PASSION We’re the first to acknowledge we haven’t got it all figured out. But we are passionate about wine and about this idea. And we work with equally passionate people. We are determined to create a company that, in time, will be able to make a very real difference in the way people think about and consume wine.
